  • It was a combination of things that worked. I drink 4 cups of green tea/day. Two in the morning and two in the evening. I also try to get at least a half gallon of water down per day(and yes this means lots of potty breaks ;)). I do a beginners Yoga workout each morning on an empty stomach, it is thought that by doing this it helps to regulate blood sugars. My diet consists of fruits, veggies and lean proteins(ie beans, nuts and other things rich in protein, not including meat). I have stuck with a flexitarian diet, meaning I don't eat meat most days, but when I do I stick to chicken or fish. After losing initially, I had lost another 4lbs and have now maintained for the last couple months. I also like to randomly throw in some squats, lunges and stomach crunches just to surprise the system, hahah. Another trick, if one doesn't like crunches, randomly suck in your stomach throughout the day. When done right, its a great way to tighten those muscles. :)
